Farida Talaat is a PR professional, designer and entrepreneur. Throughout her career, she has worked with multinationals across Europe, the Middle East and North America, drawing on her experience to give strategic PR and Marketing Communications counsel to public and private sector clients and corporates.

With a Swiss degree in luxury hospitality, she started her career with Jumeirah Group’s flagship property, Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel. Her career path then led her to work with WPP PR agencies H+K Strategies and MSLGROUP advising Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries from tourism, aviation, healthcare and telecommunications to IT, real estate, beauty, lifestyle and more.

In her most recent role as PR and Social Media Specialist with Canon, Farida handled B2B, B2C and Corporate Communications for the brand across two geographical regions, as well as helped develop and execute the award-winning ‘Live for the Story’ campaign. Worlds apart from her corporate career, Farida embarked on an entrepreneurial journey launching her own fashion label, ZORAR; a line of quirky handbags and accessories. Her creative designs were featured on radio and TV, and in newspapers, magazines and blogs locally, regionally and internationally. Her interests don’t end there since her passion for philanthropy saw her elected twice as the Secretary-General of a prominent NGO in Dubai raising funds for a number of charitable projects and community initiatives.

Farida holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, in academic association with the Écôle Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. In line with her luxury hospitality education, Farida is formally trained in International Etiquette and Protocol. A multi-talented personality with a high affinity for languages, Farida is fluent in Arabic, English and French and has a working knowledge of German.
