She completed her PhD in Public Administration at the University of Ottawa, with a major in Public Policy.
Dr. Mamuji is currently working on a book that amplifies the voices of diverse victims of disasters in Canada in order to move emergency management beyond the status-quo. Her work includes research on hate-crimes faced by specific faith groups, labour market integration of refugees resettling in Canada, anti-Asian hate during the COVID-19 pandemic, and hosting of visible minorities during wildfire evacuation, to name a few.
