Wati Rahmat (she/her) is a community activist, bridge builder, and writer. Wati is the founder of Sisters Dialogue - which provides culturally safe spaces and supports for racialized Muslim women, advocates on systemic and emerging issues affecting the Muslim community, and fosters bridge-building with other racialized communities, through an intersectional, collaborative and women-centered framework.
Wati also sits on the national Expert Advisory Panel for Nisa Homes. Wati is passionate about social justice and community care, and she strives to create awareness and amplify the voices of the disenfranchised in whatever space she is engaged in.
